In Bulgaria, the roe deer inhabits lowlands and mountains also. In mountainous hunting areas hunting trophies of roe bucks are with a weight of 300-450 g., while in the lowlands they reach 400-550 g.
The trophies of the Bulgarian roe deer are symmetric; antlers are long and with lots of pearls.

From end of spring until beginning of autumn the large game rests. Only hunting on roe bucks is allowed during this period.

In May or in the beginning of June, the most suitable time is early morning or at nightfall.

Roe deer hunting in Bulgaria

Roe deer hunting area: Plain forests in cultivable lands with exuberant undergrowth and bushes.

Acompaning hunting: It can be matched with the hunting of a wild boar from high seat and a mouflon.

The trophy is paid according to its weight measured in grams, 24 hours after shooting and the trophy boiling, as for the upper jaw 90 gr. are deducted.

Price per person: 4 hunting days - € 1300

The price includes:

  • Reception and assistance on arrival at Sofia airport
  • Accomodation in a three star hotel or a hunting house in a single room on a full board basis during the above indicated period
  • The transfers from the airport to the hunting district and back to the airport, all transport during the hunt
  • The assistance of an interpreter from the arrival to the departure
  • The organization of the hunting with qualified staff, local hunting guides
  • Bulgarian hunting licence valid 30 days
  • Veterinary certificate
  • Tropphy measurement after CIC methods
  • Export documents


The price does not include:

  • The transport to/from Bulgaria
  • The cartridges
  • The alcoholic drinks
  • The game
  • The tips and the personal expenses
  • Spedition of the trophies
  • Anything not mentioned under the “The price includes”


Extra charges:

  • Extra hunting day - 300 €
  • Rifle hire per day - 30 €
