The adult bucks weigh up to 100 kg and reach 140 cm in terms of body length. The average weight of the antlers varies between 3 kg and 4 kg, but some of our clients are proud owners of trophies, weighing 5 kg. Hunting is through stalking or from high seat.

In 2006 there were shot many trophies, 5 of which over 200 CIC points. The mating period in October is the best one.
Unlike Western Europe, in Bulgaria the fallow deer lives also in the nature. There are only few enclosures, but they cover large territories – up to 8000 ha

Fallow deer hunting area: Flat areas with deciduous and mixt forests.

Acompaning hunting: It can be combined with hunting of wild boar, roe deer and mouflon.

Male and calf: from 1st September 31 st January

Deer: from 1 st October to 31 st Dicember

Price per person : 4 hunting days - € 1500

The price includes:

  • Welcome to the airport
  • Accomodation in a three star hotel or a hunting house in single rooms on a full board basis during the above indicated period
  • The transfers from the airport to the hunting district and back to the airport, all transport during the hunt
  • The assistance of an interpreter from the arrival to the departure
  • The organization of the hunting with qualified staff, local hunting guides
  • Bulgarian hunting licence valid 30 days
  • Veterinary certificate
  • Trophy measurement after CIC methods
  • Export documents


The price does not include:

  • The transport to/from Bulgaria
  • The cartridges
  • The alcoholic drinks
  • The tips and the personal expenses
  • Spedition of the trophies
  • Anything not mentioned under the “The price includes”


Extra charges:

  • Extra hunting day – 300 €
  • Rifle hire per day - 30 €


Necessary documents:

  • Valid passport
  • Permit of export of guns and cartridges
