In Bulgaria there are approximately 800 bears. The hunting district of no less than 20 000 hectares lies in central Bulgaria around 3 hours drive from Sofia's airport. It is a very beautiful hilly landscape-some 500-1.300 m above sea level. The method of hunting is over bait in spring and autumn.
The hunting licences are limited and it is necessary to book quite in advance - at the end of January at the latest.
It is necessary to preview 5-6 hunting days even if sometimes the bear may be seen the first night as it happened one time. In this case you may interrupt the stay or continue hunting wild boars, muflons, fallow deers, red deers and other species in the hunting area.

Trophy:

• Up to 300.00 points - 4500 €
• From 300.01 to 350.00 points - 4500 € + 40 € for every further point
• From 350.01 to 400.00 points - 6500 € + 45 € for every further point
• Over 400.01 points -8750 € + 80 € for every further point

Price per person, 5 hunting days - € 1900

The price includes:

• Reception and assistance on arrival at Sofia airport
• Accomodation in a three star hotel or a hunting house in single rooms on a full board basis during the above indicated period
• The transfers from the airport to the hunting district and back to the airport, all transport during the hunt
• The assistance of an interpreter from the arrival to the departure
• The organization of the hunting with qualified staff, local hunting guides
• Bulgarian hunting licence valid 30 days
• Veterinary certificate
• Trophy measurement after CIC methods
• Export documents, CITES
