Partridges are birds of medium size with protective gray-brown colouration. Most of the year partridges are in flocks. In the summer these are separate broods, and in the autumn and summer the flocks are bigger. The birds in the flock fly off suddenly, most often at the same time, with a typical sound. They fly rectilineally at small distances.  
In our country it is greatest in number in plain. The typical habitats of partridges are open agricultural areas with small bushes or long grass between the fields where they hide.
In Bulgaria it is possible to hunt wild partridges.

Partridge hunting in Bulgaria

Hunting season: from 01st October to 30 st November

Hunting area: Open and cultivated agricultural areas with small groups of bushes and trees where you can hunt wild partridges.

Acompaning hunting: It can be combined with the pheasants, hares and quails hunting .

Price per person including 6 wild partridges per hunter per day:
3 hunting days min. 4 hunters 1600 €

The price includes:

  • Welcome to the airport
  • Accomodation in a three star hotel or a hunting house in single rooms on a full board basis during the above indicated period
  • The transfers from the airport to the hunting areas and back to the airport, all the transfers in the hunting area
  • The assistance of an interpreter from the arrival to the departure
  • The organization of the hunting with qualified staff, local hunting guides
  • Bulgarian hunting licence valid 30 days
  • Export documents


The price does not include:

  • All that is not mentioned in the “The price includes”
  • The transport to/from Bulgaria
  • The alcoholic drinks
  • The shot animals


Extra charges:

  • Rent a dog per day - € 25
  • Rent a hunting gun per day - € 25
  • Partridge out of the paquage - 21 €, hare 35 €, pheasant - 12 €, quail - 4 €

  • Permit of export of guns
