They are greatest in number in field regions to 500 m above sea level. They prefer cultivated plots with greater number of field boundaries, gullies, groups of bushes and/or small groves. They inhabit hill terrains, often lit by the sun, with trees and bushes in the proximity of fields. They are often found in vineyard massifs, fruit-tree gardens and young forest plantations.

Hare hunting in Bulgaria

Hunting season: from 1st October to 31st December

Hunting area: Various agricultural crops and small plain forests as well as gullies covered with bushes and trees, vineyards and fruit gardens.

Acompaning hunting: It can be combined with the wild duck in December. One hunter per day may see approximately 10 hares and 50-60 wild ducks.

Price per person: 4 hunting days, min. 4 hunters - 1250 €

The price includes:

  • Welcome to the airport
  • Accomodation in a three star hotel or a hunting house in single rooms on a full board basis during the above indicated period
  • The transfers from the airport to the hunting areas and back to the airport, all the transfers in the hunting area
  • The assistance of an interpreter from the arrival to the departure
  • The organization of the hunting with qualified staff, local hunting guides
  • Bulgarian hunting licence valid 30 days
  • Export documents


The price does not include:

  • All that is not mentioned in the “The price includes”
  • The transport to/from Bulgaria
  • The alcoholic drinks
  • The shot animals


Extra charges:

  • Rent a dog per day - 25€per day
  • Rent a hunting gun per day - € 25
  • Hare - 35 €, pheasant - 12 €, quail - 4 €, partridge - 25 €

  • Permit of export of guns
