The smallest hen-like birds nesting in our country. Their plumage is ochre-brown. They fly off one by one, with a typical sound and flies fast, low above the ground. Their flight is rectilinear.
Their typical habitats are open agricultural areas in which grain and forage crops. It also inhabits meadows, clearings, pastures, uncultivated lands.

In Bulgaria local quails are hunted in August and it is very suitable for dog training.In September begins the migration, which is extremely intense every year.

 

Quail hunting in Bulgaria

Quail hunting season: from 15th August to 30 th October

Quail hunting area: Wheat crops. Migratory way of the quails, big passages. There are very suitable areas for the nidification and the nutrition of the quails with lowrise agricultural crops, stubblefields, weeds.

Acompaning hunting: It can be combined with the hunting of turtle-doves

Paquage price per person including 120 quails per hunter:
4 hunting days, min. 4 hunters - 1650 €

The price includes:

  • Welcome to the airport
  • Accomodation in a three star hotel or a hunting house in single rooms on a full board basis during the above indicated period
  • The transfers from the airport to the hunting areas and back to the airport, all the transfers in the hunting area
  • The assistance of an interpreter from the arrival to the departure
  • The organization of the hunting with qualified staff, local hunting guides
  • Bulgarian hunting licence valid 30 days
  • Export documents
  • 120 quails per hunter


The price does not include:

  • All that is not mentioned in the “The price includes”
  • The transport to/from Bulgaria
  • The alcoholic drinks
